Hello!
Welcome to the UKDiver website! Allow me to introduce myself.
I’m Andy, and I began my diving journey in 2013 with my PADI Open Water course which I did right here in the UK. Shortly after, I joined my local BSAC club, where I’ve been until recently.
Since crossing over to BSAC, I’ve reached the level of Advanced Diver and became a full open water instructor in 2019. My latest certification is with SSI, allowing me to dive with my Horizon Semi-Closed Rebreather.
I’ve been actively diving and teaching across the UK, accumulating over 3,000 dives from the Orkney Islands to the Lizard Peninsula, Kinlochbervie to Dover, and many places in between. I also frequented our fantastic inland dive sites for practice and teaching.
This year has brought some changes to my diving routine. I decided to take a break from UK diving for a few years to explore more of our incredible planet.
With my trips planned out now until 2028, I’m unsure when I’ll return to UK diving, but I’m thrilled about my upcoming adventures!
I’m still teaching theory, dry courses, and pool sessions in the UK, and I’m available for open water lessons if you join me on one of my exotic trips. Check out the “Need an Instructor?” section for instructor support for you or your club.
Feel free to explore the site and visit my YouTube channel if you haven’t already. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need advice or have questions about diving or my trips.
Hope to see you out there soon!
Dive safe!
